The ATRS Annual Conference is always a much anticipated event for all employees. The days are filled with seminars, presentations and practice sessions, with excursions and activities at night that create a high energy “family reunion” atmosphere. This year for the first time ever, ATRS is setting sail in search of Buried Treasure on a Carnival cruise to the Yucatan & Cozumel!

The Annual Conference provides a great opportunity for team members from different markets to experience our fun, friendly culture. We exchange ideas, winning strategies and the everyday joys, struggles and solutions for keeping our neighborhoods clean and green. Each of our 12 offices participate in the Conference activities and return to their cities with inspiration, new skills and a fresh perspective to share with our municipalities, schools, businesses and charitable partners in the community.

David Peganyee“This year we’re setting sail in search of Buried Treasure. The treasure that exists in every closet, every household and every neighborhood in our communities nationwide, says David M. Peganyee,” Founding CEO and President.

“Every year residents in our markets discard at least 70 lbs of unwanted, out of season, gently used clothing, shoes, soft toys and household textiles. These items have a value and a purpose and should not be thrown away or buried in our landfills. Our goal in 2016 is to inspire and train our employees, educate our communities and uncover this buried treasure.   Our mission is to give clothing donations a second life where they can do so much good for others.”

Stay up to date with us as we set sail on our “Buried Treasure” Annual Conference by following us on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube and our blog “Our Greener Tomorrow.” It’s going to be a great year and we’re excited to have you onboard.
