The 44th anniversary of Earth Month is right around the corner. How will you be celebrating? ATRS is supporting eco-friendly events across the nation. Find one near you from the list below and please join us!
Earth Day is officially April 22, but there are so many ways to go green all month long. Most community events are free and and fun for the entire family, with activities ranging from balloon animal contests to live music, yoga, personality appearances and of course onsite recycling. Remember, even if you can’t kick off spring with any of these Earth Month festivities, you can still support Mother Nature by donating your worn and torn clothing & shoes in your convenient neighborhood recycling bins!

Where: Georgia Tech University
It’s the 17th anniversary of Georgia Tech’s Earth Day Celebration, and we can’t wait to see what they have in store! Enjoy live music while you indulge in eco-eats, meet Captain Planet and recycle your old clothing & shoes. It’s going to be an awesome environmentally-friendly celebration!

Where: Cucamonga Valley Water District’s Administrative Offices
Party it up with our team in SoCal at the Cucamonga Valley Earth Day & Open House! This family-friendly event features giveaways, refreshments and fun for the whole family. The annual San Antonio Earth Day Celebration is back! Show up on time for food, fun and activities, or get there early for their 5K/Family Walk. Either way, it’s sure to be an eco-blast!

Come see our team members at Earth Day Denver! This fair connects community members with local organizations and companies that promote sustainable practices. Plus, it’s now a zero-waste event thanks to recycling and compost initiatives from Denver Solid Waste Management and Denver Recycles.

Where: Fair Park
Earth Day Texas is a two-day event that allows leading eco-friendly organizations to connect with the community and teach how sustainable lifestyles can save both money and the environment. This high-energy event is our largest, anticipating 60,000 attendees who are all eager to learn how they can make a difference!

Where: Discovery Green
Earth Day Houston is celebrating its ninth anniversary this year, and we want you to join! Come out and learn how you can “preserve, conserve and enhance” Houston and the Earth. In addition to learning & kids’ activities, there will also be a Local Fare Market with delicious eats and 100 different eco-friendly booths to visit. We’ll see you there!

Where: Downtown Rochester
The MI Earth Day Fest promotes an allover Greener Tomorrow. From promoting earth-friendly organizations to supporting nonprofits and economic development, this fest spreads the word that “it’s never been more important to go green.” Check it out for just one day or go all weekend: you won’t be disappointed!
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
When: April 22; 11 am to 1 pm
Where: North Side of Student Center
Oklahoma State University understands the importance of teaching our youth to celebrate the earth, and that is the inspiration behind their fifth-annual OSU-OKC Earth Day Fair. They’ll be handing out free eco-eats and prizes, and will even auction off a bike to promote environmentally-friendly transportation options! This year, it’s easy to Go Green with OSU-OKC.

Where: Lake Eola Park (East Side)
Presented by Vegetarians of Central Florida, the Central Florida Earth Day is full of different exhibits and activities. Boasting food prep sessions, a kids’ zone and an animal haven, this event truly is fun for the whole family. Check out its ninth celebration this year!
