EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT: Doug Danner Drives Success in Arizona
We at ATRS have so many things to be thankful for: the opportunity to make a real difference in our neighborhoods, create amazing partnerships with charitable organizations and maintain our fast-growing presence across the nation, just to name a few. These opportunities would not be possible without Our Team, the dedicated individuals who work tirelessly behind the scenes to keep our cities clean and green. This week we highlight Doug Danner, Arizona Route Manager:

Doug joined ATRS in Phoenix nearly six years ago. Typically a Route Manager oversees a team of drivers that cruise through our neighborhoods in those iconic ATRS trucks wrapped in green bubbles. Doug understands the importance of servicing these many donation centers and keeping the areas clean and well-maintained. Whenever duty calls, night or day, Doug is there to maintain our excellent service rating at each bin location. It takes a very special person to place his work so highly on his priority list but Doug has never given it a second thought.

Doug also supports his community by volunteering at events like the annual P.F. Chang’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Arizona Half Marathon, helping out at the annual Weldon House Holiday Party and attending Earth Days throughout the Phoenix and Scottsdale areas.

Doug’s coworker Kim Goodwill submitted his name for this employee spotlight. When asked what made him stand out from the crowd she said: “Doug Danner is one of the most amazing, loyal and hard-working employees I have ever had the honor to work with. We are so lucky to have him!”
Arizona Market Team Manager Robby Milner, adds “Doug is an integral part of the team AZ and has a huge influence on our communities. He has a tremendously positive attitude and will do whatever it takes to get the job done right, often working overtime in the process. He is well-liked and respected by both the drivers and our Community Recycling Advocates, and is always the go-to man in a crisis.
From his impressive knowledge of the 500+ Clothing & Shoe Recyclers located throughout our Arizona market to his commitment to improving his community, Doug’s contribution empowers his entire team. Cheers to many more years with the ATRS family, Doug!
